New California Law Forces Churches To Provide ‘Hate Speech’ Training
Pro-family advocates in California are warning that Golden State churches have a little more than a year until they will be forced to conduct “hate speech” training for their employees, with the term’s meaning left up to unelected bureaucrats to determine.
Signed by Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom on September 27, AB 1803 amends current law requiring any employer with five or more workers to provide sexual harassment training. Starting January 1, 2028, this mandate “shall also include anti-hate speech training as a component of the training and education.” This training must “provide supervisors and employees with practical guidance on recognizing, reporting, and confronting workplace speech that vilifies, humiliates, or incites hatred against people based on the protected characteristics.”
The law does not mention any sort of religious exceptions or accommodations or does it define “hate speech.” California Family Council explained that whether or not a separate religious employer exemption in the Fair Employment and Housing Act will apply remains unresolved, and California bureaucracy has already illustrated how broadly it interprets “hate.”
California is widely considered the most far-left state in America by numerous metrics, including LGBT issues.

A massive magnitude 7.7 earthquake has rocked Panama, damaging buildings and triggering an urgent tsunami threat message.
The earthquake struck southwest of Pitaloza Arriba, a village of just over 100 residents in Herrera province, with shaking reported hundreds of miles away. The US Geological Survey said the earthquake struck at 1.56pm ET at a shallow depth and that some casualties were possible.

Bundy, who allegedly refused commands to get out of his vehicle, was eventually carried by police to a patrol car that took him to jail.
He was booked into the Iron County Jail for investigation of failing to obey an officer, interfering with an officer, driving without registration and not having a valid license. Bundy was arrested Wednesday morning. A police booking affidavit didn't show up in the state's court document system until Friday.
Bundy, 51, was driving a Ford F-250 on I-15 when he was pulled over for not having a "rear registration plate" on his truck, the affidavit states.
The St. George News talked to Bundy on Wednesday after he was bailed out of jail. He said that he objects to laws requiring vehicle registration and having a driver's license, and considers traveling a "God-given right."
