COVID-19 bill started a 180-day countdown for UFO disclosures

President Trump’s signature Sunday on the $2.3 trillion COVID-19 relief and government funding bill started a 180-day countdown for the Pentagon and spy agencies to say what they know about UFOs.

The provision received very little attention, in part because it wasn’t included in the text of the 5,593-page legislation, but as a “committee comment” attached to the annual intelligence authorization act, which was rolled into the massive bill.

  • On December 14 when the Electoral College met, alternate Republican 'electors' also met in state capitals where President Donald Trump lost

Utah GOP Sen. Mitt Romney opposed $2,000 COVID-19 stimulus checks

A growing number of Republican senators support $2,000 stimulus checks, but Utah Sen. Mitt Romney is not among them.

Romney, who championed the stimulus checks back in March, opposed the $600 direct payments that were eventually added to the bipartisan aid package approved last week. Though he voted for the bill, the payments were not part of the original plan he helped negotiate with a group of eight Republican and Democratic senators.

"Someone's got to pay for that. We can't just have free money. There's got to be taxation. We have to pay interest on the debt," Romney said.
