California Security Guard Stabs Man for Refusing to Wear Mask
A California security guard stabbed a grocery store customer after he allegedly became violent when employees asked the man to wear a mask, according to police.
Witnesses on the scene said the victim entered the Vons supermarket in Santa Monica, California, and staff requested he put on a face mask, which caused him to become “belligerent” and assault the employee.
This altercation between the employee and the man led the security guard to intervene, which caused the scene to get bloody.
Police say the security guard tried to escort the customer out of the store, but a struggle and fight ensued between the two. As the security guard and customer struggled, the guard produced a pocket knife and then reportedly stabbed the victim multiple times.

The Utah Legislature, meeting in special session this week, passed HB2001, which renames the four-year public university in St. George. The bill passed handily in the House by a vote of 56-15 but was narrowly approved in the Utah Senate by a vote of 17-12.

Latter-day Saint missionaries safe after armed men interrupt conference in Mexico
Seventy missionaries are safe after two armed men entered the (GUN FREE ZONE) church meetinghouse where a conference was being held Friday, according to a press release from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The missionaries from the Mexico Torreon Mission were attending a zone conference with the mission president and his wife when the two men came "and demanded cellphones, tablets and wallets," the release says.
The two men allegedly hit or kicked a few missionaries and assaulted and threatened the mission president and his wife with a knife, according to the press release.
Police were called after the incident and none of the missionaries needed additional medical care. The release says a counselor will be available to "assist with emotional needs and other counseling options are also being made available."
