Danish Healthcare Trainee Seeks $1.6 Million Compensation After Severe COVID-19 Vaccine Injury
A 30-year-old Danish healthcare trainee is seeking $1.6 million in compensation through Denmark’s workers’ compensation program, after sustaining major injuries from a single dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, Berlingske reports.
Jasmin Jenson took the jab on February 27, 2021 – just 12 days before the Danish Health Authority paused the use of the vaccine. Jenson, who was interning at a residence for autistic individuals, experienced a reaction to the vaccine just hours after being injected. She subsequently became so ill that she had to give up her education.
Jenson is now on disability pension due to constant headaches, concentration difficulties, and nearly chronic fatigue. Her loss of working capacity has been assessed at 90 percent, leading to a compensation of approximately 11 million DKK (US$1.6 million), according to the report.

An organization of British priests has released an open letter in which it said that the teachings of the Catholic Church were “unchangeable,” in response to a landmark ruling approved by Pope Francis declaring priests can now issue blessings to same-sex couples, under certain conditions.
On Monday, a document issued by the Vatican’s doctrinal office said Roman Catholic priests could choose to deliver blessings to same-sex couples on a “case-by-case basis.” However, it stressed that the process is not intended to supersede the sacrament of heterosexual marriage. Nor could it happen during a regular church ritual or liturgy.

The man, who didn't want to be identified, gave exact descriptions of the box the money was in and the credit unions listed on the envelopes. He met with the three men Thursday night to tell them he forgot about the box on his truck trailer and got distracted with a phone call.
When he left, the box slid off his truck trailer.
He told the three men that he searched the area for nearly three hours looking for the money before calling the sheriff's office. He also gave the three men a reward and an even bigger thank you.

They have created a detection system that measures keystroke speed, and found that if was over 95 percent effective in detecting fraudulent activity.
“The reason why this is such a compelling technology — and such a compelling idea — is that what we are measuring can be captured seamlessly by any device that can run JavaScript,” Wilson said.
