The antivirus pioneer reportedly killed himself after he was prepared to be extradited to the United States, and within 30 minutes after a news outlet shared the news, McAfee's Instagram uploaded a photo of the capital letter Q.
McAfee, who was born in 1945 on a US Army base in Britain, before being raised in Virginia, sold his antivirus company to Intel for $7.7billion in 2011.

McAfee was found dead this afternoon in his cell in Brians 2 Prison in Barcelona, with officials saying that the early investigation points to a suicide, Spanish newspaper El Pais reported. It came just hours after a Spanish court approved McAfee's extradition to the United States, where he is wanted on tax-related criminal charges that carry a prison sentence of up to 30 years.

A massive rescue operation is underway after a apartment building close to Miami Beach collapsed in the early hours of this morning.
