Republicans now want to push those requirements further to include photo ID. The SAVE Act has been endorsed by Trump.

Chaos at Detroit airport as car crashes INSIDE terminal and screaming suspect is dragged off by cops
A man screamed at police as he was hauled out of Detroit Metro Airport after crashing through the check-in area.
The crash happened around 7:30pm local time on Friday, according to airport officials.
Video of the aftermath showed the car had come to rest inside the McNamara Terminal, the largest terminal at the airport.
A witness who spoke to WXYZ-TV said they heard a loud noise as the car plowed through the entrance and slammed into a Delta Air Lines counter.
Footage also emerged on social media which showed a man exiting the vehicle and yelling, it remains unclear what he said.
Police and TSA agents responded to the situation quickly, bystanders said. The man, who was wearing a black Detroit Lions jersey, was taken into custody by a horde of officers.

Green Bay Packers star Rasheed Walker was reportedly arrested at New York's LaGuardia Airport Friday after trying to travel with a handgun and ammunition.
The 6ft 6ins offensive tackle, 25, was taken into custody around 11am after informing Delta Air Lines staff that inside his bag was a locked box holding a 9mm pistol.
In a statement to the Post, his attorney, Arthur Aidala, said the gun is legally licensed in Wisconsin - where Walker plays - and that the NFL star was unaware he could not travel with it in New York. That is according to the New York Post, who claim Port Authority police searched Walker's bag and found the gun as well as 36 rounds of ammunition.
It was in a locked box and he disclosed it to the people at the airport,' Aidala explained. 'He told a person from Delta he was traveling with a firearm. He mistakenly thought because he had a licensed firearm and it was in a locked box that he was able to travel with it. We are confident the case will be dismissed.'
