Gunman killed after killing 4, injuring 8 at LDS Church
GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A gunman opened fire inside a meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Michigan during a Sunday service and set the building ablaze, killing at least two people and injuring eight others before police shot him, authorities said.

Thomas Jacob Sanford, who commonly went by 'Jake', was shot dead in the parking lot of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc, Michigan on Sunday. The 40-year-old killed at least four people and injured eight others after setting the church on fire. The father-of-one came from a conservative, Christian family. He was pictured in a pro-Trump t-shirt and had attached two American flags to his pickup truck.

At least four people died and eight others, including children, were wounded when a crazed gunman attacked a Michigan Latter-day Saints church as services were in full swing — then set a blaze that burned the structure to cinders.
At least two of the victims were shot, while the other two were found dead inside the burnt-out church, officials said in an update Sunday evening.
Authorities warned that they expect to find additional bodies in the charred house of worship as they continue to clear what is left of the building, with multiple people still unaccounted for — likely increasing the death toll.

On Saturday Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed for the first time ever that Israel has supplied his country with a Patriot air defense system. He indicated it has already been operational for several weeks.
