A legislative committee on Wednesday gave unanimous approval to a bill that would prohibit the possession, purchase, or distribution of sex dolls made to look like minors or children.
HB108 defines a child sex doll as "an anatomically correct doll, mannequin, or robot, with the features of, or with features that resemble those of a minor," that "is intended for use in sexual acts." The bill would make possession of a child sex doll a class A misdemeanor, with a mandatory fine of at least $2,500, and makes distribution of a child sex doll a third-degree felony with a mandatory fine of at least $10,000.
Microsoft cloud outage hits users around the world
Microsoft said on Wednesday it had recovered all of its cloud services after a networking outage took down its cloud platform Azure along with services such as Teams and Outlook used by millions around the globe.
Azure's status page showed services were impacted in Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. Only services in China and its platform for governments were not hit.
By late morning Azure said most customers should have seen services resume after a full recovery of the Microsoft Wide Area Network.
