Netherlands to expand euthanasia law, allowing doctors to end lives of children under 12
According to the NLTimes Tuesday, the northwestern European nation, which already has some of the most liberal euthanasia policies in the world, is likely to expand its law to permit children ages 1-12 to be euthanized in certain circumstances. The practice is already legal for youth 12 and older and was already possible for infants in their first year of life.
The expansion requires the child being euthanized to be terminally ill.
In 2002, the Netherlands became the first European country to legally authorize euthanasia, and statutes permitting when people can opt to end their lives have loosened over time. According to the European bioethics association AllianceVita, in the first decade of its legalization, the number of euthanasia cases doubled; in the first 15 years the rates had tripled. By 2016, an average of 16 people were being euthanized daily and accounted for 4% of all annual deaths in the Netherlands.

Bill Gates and MIT unveil quantum dot technology to mark children’s skin so they can be scanned for vaccine compliance
MIT researchers, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the National Cancer Institute, have come up with a totalitarian “mark of the beast” vaccine tracking and scanning system.
This new technology uses nano-crystal dyes called quantum microdots. This pattern of dye contains data, signifying that a vaccine has been received into the person’s body. This pattern of dye is embedded under the skin as a vaccine is injected into the human recipient. The dots are 4 nano-meters in diameter and are encapsulated in a spherical arrangement of bio-compatible micro-particles that are 20 microns in diameter. This arrangement allows the dye to remain fixed in place under the skin upon injection.
This “mark of vaccine submission” emits near infrared light that is invisible to the eye but can be detected and scanned by a specially-equipped smartphone. The microdot pattern could additionally contain information on the lot number of the vaccine batch, the date of vaccine administration, and other unique health information.
The dye is delivered through micro-needles made from dis-solvable sugar and a polymer called PVA. This formula is applied through a patch. When the patch is applied, the micro-needles dissolve, releasing the dye under the skin in about two minutes and making its data permanent.
The dye lasts for about five years, making it an unreliable indicator of vaccine compliance long term. This will lead to even more redundant re-vaccinations because the marking system faded out.

Pentagon estimates cost of new nuclear missiles at $95.8B
The Pentagon has raised to $95.8 billion the estimated cost of fielding a new fleet of land-based nuclear missiles to replace the Minuteman 3 arsenal that has operated continuously for 50 years, officials said Monday.
The estimate is up about $10 billion from four years ago.
The weapons, known as intercontinental ballistic missiles, or ICBMs, are intended as part of a near-total replacement of the American nuclear force over the next few decades at a total cost of more than $1.2 trillion.
The current fleet of 400 deployed Minuteman missiles, each armed with a single nuclear warhead, is based in underground silos in Montana, North Dakota, Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska. Their numbers are governed in part by the 2010 New START treaty with Russia, which is due to expire in February. Russia wants to extend the treaty but the Trump administration has set conditions not accepted by Moscow.
