Rubio: Iran War To Last 2-4 More Weeks
The Iran War will last a further two-to-four weeks, Secretary of State Marco Rubio told European leaders on Friday.
According to Axios and unnamed sources, “This is the first time a senior U.S. official suggested the war would continue beyond the four to six-week timeframe President Trump has discussed since the war started.”
At the G7 meeting in France, Rubio is reported to have said the US is now very close to holding serious negotiations with Iran.

Houthi Missile Attack: First Against Israel Since War with Iran Began
Yemen’s Houthi rebels have fired a missile at Israel, in the first such incident since the beginning of Operation Epic Fury against Iran.
Israel’s military said they intercepted the missile early on Saturday morning.
The strike, which the Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for, raises the possibility that the Iranian-backed rebel group will target commercial shipping in the Red Sea.
Thus far, the Houthis, who have held Yemen’s capital Sanaa for more than a decade, have stayed out of the war with Iran, mainly to preserve their truce with Saudi Arabia, which launched a war against them on behalf of Yemen’s government-in-exile, in 2015.
The Houthis attacked shipping in the Red Sea during the recent Israel-Hamas war, and also fired drones at Israel.

ICE Buying Up Warehouses For Massive Increase in Detention Capacity
The purchases will add capacity for more than 90,000 detainees.
The Wall Street Journal reports that ICE “plans to spend $38.3 billion on a new detention model that includes acquiring warehouses and converting them into detention centers.”
ICE has now bought 11 “mostly new or empty” warehouses in recent months.
There are plans to acquire at least two dozens more warehouses and turn them into detention centers and processing sites.
ICE officials now believe most of the sites will be fully operational by the end of 2026.
The new centers will be able to hold between 1,500 and 8,500 detainees. Most of the 300 current facilities can only hold hundreds.
