Samar Alkhdour arrived in Quebec as an asylum seeker in 2019. Her sister, who has two young children, relocated from Gaza to Canada earlier this year.
Alkhdour, a self-proclaimed human rights activist, is very vocal on social media about Palestinian causes and often details her life as a refugee.
In a recent post, the activist launched a profane rant in which she criticized her neighbors for displaying gory Halloween decor outside their Montreal home.
