Former Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday implored fellow Republicans to stop lashing out at the FBI over the search of Donald Trump's Florida home and denounced calls by some of the former president's allies to defund the FBI, saying that was "just as wrong" as a push by Democratic activists to shift money from police.
Pence also said he would give "due consideration" if asked to testify before the House committee investigating the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

At least 37% of American farmers say they are KILLING existing crops and selling off livestock due to drought after the US experienced its third-hottest July on record
- A report from the American Farm Bureau Federation found that 37 percent of farmers from the Great Plains through California are killing off crops
- One-third of farmers also reported destroying orchard trees and other multi-year crops, and two-thirds have had to sell off portions of their herds or flocks
- Others have simply sent their livestock to the slaughterhouse early
- They have said they were forced to do so due to an ongoing drought which is making it difficult to water crops and care for the animals
- The situation may only get worse as local governments implement further measures to conserve water
- As a result, the Farm Bureau says, Americans will soon have to pay even more for meat and crops as they are already struggling with inflation

U.S. Lawmakers File Bill to Get Us Out of the UN
Outraged by the growing influence of the mass-murdering Chinese Communist Party and other perceived problems, U.S. lawmakers recently re-introduced legislation that would end U.S. membership in the United Nations and its agencies, such as the World Health Organization (WHO).
In addition to ending U.S. government involvement with the UN, the American Sovereignty Restoration Act (H.R. 7806) would remove the UN’s controversial headquarters from U.S. soil and protect American troops from having to serve under UN command.
U.S. Representative Mike Rogers, a conservative Republican representing eastern Alabama, has been the lead sponsor of the bill in several congresses so far. He has raised numerous concerns over the years, including corruption, waste, hostility to Israel, opposition to fundamental American principles, the UN’s hatred of the Second Amendment, and more, as reasons to get the United States out of the UN.
“The United Nations has repeatedly proven itself to be an utterly useless organization,” explained Rogers in a statement announcing the reintroduction of the bill last month, doubling down on previous comments referring to the UN as a “disaster.”
