ATF Shows Up At People’s Homes To Confiscate Rare Breed FRT-15 Triggers
A new report from the gun blog website AmmoLand Shooting Sports News claims that Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents have shown up at the homes of “multiple people” to confiscate previously legal forced reset triggers for AR-15 style rifles that were recently classified as “machine guns.”
According to the report, it is unknown how the ATF acquired the customers’ information – though the owners in question acquired their triggers via Gun Broker or the Rare Breed Triggers website.
“It is possible the ATF received the customers’ information from credit card processors or shipping companies,” AmmoLand said, adding the federal agency had received customer information from Authorize.net and Stamps.com to track people who’ve bought 80% lowers from gun parts kits manufacturer Polymer80.
A person named “Paul Britton Finch” is allegedly one of those gun owners who got a knock on the door from ATF agents.

US to send GPS-guided munitions to Kiev – Politico
The US is planning to supply Ukraine with GPS-guided high-precision M982 Excalibur artillery shells, Politico reported on Friday, citing a person familiar with the matter.
The shell is equipped with an armor-penetrating warhead and has a laser-guided version. The munitions can be fired using US-made M777 howitzers, which are already being used by Ukrainian troops.

A new survey by the American Farm Bureau Federation is painting a dire picture for farmers and ranchers across the West who are reeling from the worst drought to hit the region in 12 centuries.
Ranchers are killing cows and farmers are pulling up crops that won't reach maturity due to lack of water.
The survey tapped more than 600 responses in 15 states and was conducted over the summer.
The survey notes that the "overwhelming majority of fruits, tree nuts and vegetables are sourced from drought-stricken states where farmers are feeling forced to fallow land and destroy orchards, which will likely result in American consumers paying more for these goods and either partially relying on foreign supplies or shrinking the diversity of items they buy at the store. Drought conditions in the U.S. also risk global access to some items like almonds, since California produces 80% of the world's supply, greatly limiting buyers' procurement options."

Utah monkeypox updates: More counties open vaccine appointments
The Davis County Health Department will host a drive-thru vaccine clinic on Saturday morning.
Health departments for Salt Lake County, Davis County and Weber-Morgan Counties have monkeypox vaccine doses available for designated populations, officials say, as the number of cases statewide reached 85 Friday.
People eligible for vaccine doses at this drive-thru clinic include:
- Any individual who has been exposed to a known case of monkeypox.
- Men who have sex with men who have had multiple sexual partners in recent weeks.
- Sex workers and members of other high-risk groups.
Only those who meet all of the following criteria are currently eligible for Salt Lake County vaccine doses, according to the county health department:
Men (cisgender or transgender) who have sex with men.
Men who are not in monogamous, exclusive relationships with one other person.
Men who do not have any symptoms of monkeypox.
