4 vehicles shot on I-15 in Juab County; 2 occupants injured
NEPHI — Troopers say two people were injured early Tuesday when someone fired several shots and hit four vehicles driving on the I-15 freeway.
About 3:15 a.m., the vehicles were shot driving between Nephi and Scipio, the Utah Highway Patrol said in a statement.
The two people who were struck have injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening, troopers said. The victims were in separate vehicles.
The UHP is investigating four vehicles that were hit by the gunfire, three of which were southbound and one that was northbound.
The current whereabouts of the shooter are unknown at this time," according to the statement.
