people 'laugh' at white people pulling down Confederate statues because it won't 'close the labor
gap' - as Trump prepares to use US Marshals to defend monuments

Images of the Suri women from Ethiopia shows one in a headdress made of
animal horns (right) with a 20-inch clay plate while another shows a woman's
shrivelled lips after years of wearing the device (centre). The women of the

their two lower teeth removed and their bottom lip sliced at the age of 12 in
order to squeeze in the clay plate (left and right), which helps attract a
wealthy husband. A man's worth in the indigenous tribe is measured by the
amount of cows he owns.

Please spare me the usual
emails calling me a “racist.” The white-guilt card will not work on
me. I will not cower in the corner, I will not bow and lick your boots,
and I will not take responsibility for anything my ancestors did. The
Bible teaches us that.

Mask-wearing becomes political hot button in Utah, other states
Herbert has repeatedly
asked Utahns to wear face coverings in public when social distancing is not
possible, but has not gone as far as to issue a mandate…The governor, however,
said Wednesday he is now requiring employees in the state’s executive branch,
including education and state liquor stories, to wear face coverings at work.
If it is going to
be mandatory elsewhere, it probably should come from local government leaders
so residents can hold them accountable for their decisions, he said.
People on the right say government can’t
and shouldn’t impinge on their freedom by requiring them to don a face covering. People on the left seem to willingly put one on and say everyone
should be made to wear one.
