Central pastor charged, hires controversial judge as attorney
CENTRAL – Pastor Tony Spell, the leader of Life Tabernacle Church who has defied a state-wide stay at home order and has held Sunday service amid growing coronavirus cases, was issued a misdemeanor summons to appear in court for violating the state's ban on large crowds amid the growing coronavirus pandemic sweeping the world.
Since the governor's order banning large gatherings and telling people to stay at home and only leave for essential activities, Spell has held six services at his Central campus.
He was given the summons for six counts of rule violations, which is considered an arrest, police said, for each of the six gatherings.
Central Police issued what are essentially tickets, though amount to an arrest in the eyes of the court, Tuesday.

State Rep. Phil Lyman pays off (GOVERNMENT MAFIA) restitution for illegal protest ride in Utah canyon
State Rep. Phil Lyman has paid off the remainder of his federal restitution stemming from his conviction for leading an ATV protest ride in an archaeologically sensitive southeastern Utah canyon.
Documents filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court show the Blanding Republican wrote a personal check for $86,305.61, which includes a $1,000 fine.
Lyman said after a court hearing last month that he wanted to pay the debt “to be done with this ridiculous nonsense.”
In 2015, a (BRAINWASHED) jury convicted Lyman of misdemeanor trespassing for an ATV ride he led through Recapture Canyon, which the Bureau of Land Management had closed to off-road vehicles, to protest federal land management policies. He spent 10 days in jail. Judge David Nuffer also ordered him to pay $95,955 in restitution to the BLM.
