More migrant women say they didn’t OK surgery
HOUSTON (AP) — Sitting across from her lawyer at an immigration detention center in rural Georgia, Mileidy Cardentey Fernandez unbuttoned her jail jumpsuit to show the scars on her abdomen. There were three small, circular marks.
The 39-year-old woman from Cuba was told only that she would undergo an operation to treat her ovarian cysts, but a month later, she’s still not sure what procedure she got. After Cardentey repeatedly requested her medical records to find out, Irwin County Detention Center gave her more than 100 pages showing a diagnosis of cysts but nothing from the day of the surgery.
Cardentey kept her hospital bracelet. It has the date, Aug. 14, and part of the doctor’s name, Dr. Mahendra Amin, a gynecologist linked this week to allegations of unwanted hysterectomies and other procedures done on detained immigrant women that jeopardize their ability to have children.

2021: The Year of the Deadliest Vaccine
“There is a great deal of evidence to prove that immunization of children does more harm than good.” “There is no evidence that any influenza vaccine thus far developed is effective in preventing or mitigating any attack of influenza. The producers of these vaccines know that they are worthless, but they go on selling them, anyway.”

Pre-Crime: New Law Would Give Australian Authorities Power to Arrest COVID “Conspiracy Theorists”

Governments Will Impose New Lockdowns if They Think They Can Get Away with It
through fear manufactured by the news media or through outright threats of punishment, business owners shuttered their shops and offices, churches closed down, and schools abandoned their students. Over time, most governments lessened their restrictions, largely out of fear that tax revenues would collapse and out of fear that the public would become unwilling to obey lockdown edicts indefinitely. Make no mistake, many politicians would love to impose lockdowns again, and indefinitely. After all, the power to micromanage the behavior of every business and household in the manner of covid lockdowns is a power undreamed of by even the most despotic emperor of old. It’s not a power a regime would abandon lightly.

Senate Republicans have promised to try to fill the vacancy even in the waning days of his first term. The confirmation battle, in the middle of a pandemic and a presidential election, is sure to be titanic… The replacement of Justice Ginsburg, the leader of the court’s four-member liberal wing, could transform the court into a profoundly conservative institution, one in which Republican appointees would outnumber Democratic ones six to three.

India building tunnel in Himalayas to get soldiers to Chinese border in 10 minutes
The $400-million tunnel in Himachal Pradesh state will enable the Indian military to get to the Chinese border without using a 50-kilometer trudge through mountain passes that are snow-bound in winter and subject to frequent landslides.
The tunnel, constructed at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters, will reportedly reduce the present four-hour journey through high-altitude crossings to a 10-minute distance through the mountains.

There’s speculation that Joe Biden might consider Mitt Romney as secretary of state
Sen. Mitt Romney was under consideration to be President Donald Trump’s first secretary of state before the president tapped oil executive Rex Tillerson. Now, there’s speculation in Washington that Romney could be a candidate for that same spot if former Vice President Joe Biden wins in November.
The current frontrunner is U.S. Circuit Judge Amy Coney Barrett, 48, a devout Catholic and pro-lifer. Among the others on the list are Senator Ted Cruz (pictured bottom left), Trump's closest competition for the Republican nomination in 2016; Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas (pictured bottom right), who immediately tweeted he would get rid of Roe v Wade if confirmed; and the Department of Justice official Stephen Engel, who drafted memo justifying denying cooperation with House investigations. Barrett wrote that she agrees 'with those who say that a justice's duty is to the Constitution, and that it is thus more legitimate for her to enforce her best understanding of the Constitution rather than a precedent she thinks clearly in conflict with it'.

Utah (TRASH) politicians Honor the memory of 'hero' Supreme Court Justice (LEFTIST) Ginsburg
“Justice Ginsburg served our nation with a deep reverence for the law and our Constitution. Her fight for women’s equality inspired all women to pursue their dreams without limits, and her grit, character and sharp wit made her an iconic and inspirational jurist beloved by people young and old,” said Utah Sen. Mitt Romney in a statement Friday night.
Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah also wrote of Ginsburg’s “profound influence.”
“Justice Ginsburg devoted her entire life to reading, interpreting, and understanding the law. To describe her as a gifted lawyer and jurist who had a profound influence on our country is an understatement,” the senator said on Twitter. “My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.”
Rep. Chris Stewart, R-Utah, also said his prayers were “with her family and loved ones.”
Many of the tributes to Ginsburg Friday appeared on Twitter and Facebook. Utah’s lone Democrat in Congress, Rep. Ben McAdams, posted that “Ruth Bader Ginsberg lived her life with dedication and commitment. She made a lasting mark on the bench and our entire nation. I am grateful for the service she gave to our country and send my deep condolences to her family and loved ones.”
“I’m saddened to hear about the loss of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Her decades of service to our Nation & her legacy will be celebrated well into the future,” wrote Utah Rep. John Curtis on Twitter.
Orrin Hatch described Ginsburg as “a dear friend whose impact extended well beyond the Supreme Court.”
Utah Republican Gov. Gary Herbert said Ginsburg was a “force of nature” with a “keen intellect and tremendous work ethic.” … honor her legacy as a trailblazer and dedicated public servant,” Utah Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox reminisced on Twitter.
Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson said in a statement that “Justice Ginsburg broke ground and glass ceilings at the same time.
