Charity Ngilu, governor of Kitui County, where the incident happened, said: 'We have had this terrible, terrible accident that happened here on Saturday morning. Doctor Banned For Questioning Efficacy of Masks Wins High Court Case
A doctor in the UK who was banned from using social media by the General Medical Council for claiming “masks do nothing” has won his case in the High Court.
Dr. Samuel White was slapped with and 18 month ban by the GMC after he posted a video to Instagram and Twitter in June questioning the efficacy of face coverings.
Court ruled in favor of White, asserting that the tribunal which banned him from speaking had violated the 1998 Human Rights Act.
The ruling concluded that the tribunal’s decision was “an error of law and a clear misdirection,” meaning the decision was “clearly wrong and cannot stand.”

Doctors find Autism rates among Utah Children Higher than previously thought
SALT LAKE CITY – New data authored by researchers at the University of Utah shows there are far more children on the autism spectrum than previously thought. Researchers say improvements in testing and diagnosing autism could be one reason for the increase.
Thousands of 8-year-olds and 4-year-olds from Salt Lake, Davis and Tooele counties took part in the Autism and Disabilities Monitoring study. Dr. Amanda Bakian, who co-authored the study, said health care officials used to believe one out of every 58 8-year-olds in Utah were on the autism spectrum. However, the latest data shows autism rates were actually much higher.
"The prevalence of autism in 2018, we found to be about one in 46 children," she said.
Utah is slightly below the national average of one per 44 8-year-olds being diagnosed. Bakian said the data also shows there are more than three boys for every girl on the spectrum.

Poll: Majority of Voters ‘Concerned’ About ‘Potential of Harmful Side Effects’ of Vaccines
Most voters are “concerned” about the “potential of harmful side effects” of coronavirus vaccines, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Friday found.
While the survey found that nearly three-quarters of respondents, 74 percent, have been vaccinated and that 65 percent are at least “somewhat” confident in the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine, 54 percent also say they are “concerned” about the “potential of harmful side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine.” Of those, 27 percent are “very” concerned, while a quarter say they are “not very concerned” and another 19 percent say they are “not at all concerned.”
Notably 64 percent of Republicans, specifically, say they are concerned about the potential of harmful side effects, and 52 percent of independents and 45 percent of Democrats share that concern.
The survey also asked respondents if they believe the federal government should have the power to mandate vaccines. Most, 57 percent, said no. That sentiment is shared by 81 percent of Republicans and 63 percent of independents.
